A.  THE PRESIDENT & CHANCELLOR   
The President and Chancellor of Central Christian University, shall serve as President and Chancellor of Central Christian University. The President has the full legal right and is directly responsible for the appointment of members of Governing Council and Executive Senate. With advice and consent of the Governing Council, the President shall employ the Vice Chancellor, University Registrar (Academic), Administrator, Bursar, and Academic Deans, who shall be responsible for supervising the faculties and curriculum of the University. The President, as advised by the Governing Council, may employ other staff and faculty members as needed to carry out the purposes of this University.

B.  GOVERNING COUNCIL   
The Governing Council is appointed by The Executive President to  supervise  over all its administrative governance activities.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities   
The Governing Council has autonomous powers and is responsible for the management and operation control of the University.
To delegate authority with commensurate responsibility to the Executive Senate of the University.
To confer all professional awards of this University by virtue of the Authority and Powers vested in them by the constitution upon recommendation of the  Executive Senate.

C) CCU President & Chancellor-Ex-officio member
D) Members

C.  EXECUTIVE SENATE   
The Executive Senate of the University is appointed by The Executive President to be in charged with the regulation and superintendence of the academic, professional and vocational disciplines of the University and with the promotion of research.
It is on the recommendation of the Executive Senate that all degrees are conferred. Members of the Executive Senate of the University shall include:
A) Vice Chancellor /Director of Academic Affairs
B) Registrar
C) Faculty Deans
D) Examinations Syndicate Officer
E) Director For Postgraduate Studies, Research And Development
F) Two Outside Members

THE STRUCTURE OF THE STUDENTS UNION AT CCU
CCU will establish an association of students to be known as the “Students Union”, which is an association of all the students in the Central Christian University. The Student Representative Council (SRC) is composed of 10 members elected by the students. Office bearers in the Student Council shall be the President, Secretary General, Treasurer and 7 Regional committee members from respective regions. The SRC is responsible for administrative functions and is directly accountable to the Students Union at general meetings.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDENT UNION
The aims and objectives of the Student Union are as follows:
A) To provide for the representation of the students in matters that affect their interests both as individuals and a body in the pursuit of academic excellence
B) To promote intellectual, scientific, artistic, cultural, aesthetic, political , religious and economic activities arising among its members, and to promote their general welfare
C) To provide, encourage and develop among its members the formation, organization and operation of clubs and societies.
D) To provide effective channel of communication between the student and the University authorities and the people of Malawi in general
E) To organize the students on the basis of love for peace, justice, democracy, progress, the elimination of racism, tribalism, regionalism, nepotism, neo-colonialism and imperialism
F) To promote and maintain the co-operation of its members with other students at national and international levels.

REGISTRATION, AFFILIATION AND ACCREDITATION OF CCU PROGRAMMES
Central Christian University is duly registered with the Malawi Government under the
Companies Act (No. 19 of 1984) with Certificate of incorporation No.14634 and all its programmes are internationally accredited to add value to the university system and give both the local public and international higher education community confidence in our programmes.

CCU shall, furthermore, uphold the highest standards of academic excellence and integrity to assure that all the certificates, diplomas, and degrees awarded are absolutely legitimate and totally honorable. The institution shall also be partnered with the highly reputable universities locally and internationally.

The job market is highly competitive. Training is specialized in most fields. A graduate in one field may have difficulty in being hired in a field that they are not certified for.

Persons whose professional career goals require a certification by a state agency should check in advance to determine whether a diploma/degree from Central Christian University would be acceptable. Individuals needing to earn internationally/regionally accredited degree in one of our disciplines may wish to investigate comparable programs at more traditional Institutions. Central Christian University is an institution which upholds Christian values and norms

QUALITY ASSURANCE STEERING COMMITTEE
The CCU shall have internal quality assurance processes in place, and a specific budget is allocated to carry out the costs associated with these processes. A steering committee comprises of one senior academic and two senior administrative members of staff shall be appointed to drive the University’s processes. The quality assurance framework covers teaching activities, research activities, student performance, administrative processes, entrepreneurial activities, student support services, and quality enhancement.
